Members wishing to fish the National Qualifier on Lough Owel Sunday 2nd October, should contact the Secretary before the end of August.

EVENING COMPETITION

This Saturday August 13th the club's evening competition on the Upper Liffey will take place meeting in Mooney's car park at 6pm, look forward to seeing you then.

Important information regarding the use of club boats

I have been asked to inform the members that anyone using the club boats must have club membership. Day tickets are available for members guests here at

Big fish showing on our Rivers.

There have been two wild fish over 3lbs caught in the last month on our rivers, Peter Blair with a fish of 3.1lb on the upper Liffey

and Ray Harris had a lovely 3 1/4 lb fish on the Blackwater during the second leg of the trout cup.

It shows how well our waters are doing, producing these caliber of fish to flies.  If you haven't been on the rivers recently why not pay them a visit?

JUNIOR & OVER 65s

Next Saturday 2nd July the club's annual introductory day for juniors and over 65s competition and not forgetting our BBQ will take place in the Curragh Springs Fisheries starting at 11am, If you have any young budding anglers that may be interested bring them along and maby get them hooked! Any members available who would like to come along and help out would be more than welcome.As far as the over 65s we look forward to seeing you as usual. Till then take care.

1st leg Trout cup Blackwater.
